Medical Representative - IT
Role Summary
Medical Representative - IT will first understand the solutions Kallo Inc. provides, and then be able to articulate their value to the medical professional community in clinics, hospitals and government departments. In addition to initial functional positioning of these solutions, software and hardware infrastructure will need to be planned in consultation with Kallo engineers. Understanding and adherence to a consultative sales cycle is required, including demand generation, professional sales calls, customer needs analysis, discovery of business drivers, managing resources for solution presentations/demonstrations, and establishing next steps that lead to solution purchase. The ability to work within an established internal support team is critical.
Key Responsibilities
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to healthcare professionals.
Identify, qualify and close new opportunities.
Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in health sciences
- 3-5 Medical/pharmaceutical sales or clinical work experience.
- Comprehension and articulation of Healthcare Analytics and Health Information Exchange
- Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new business
- Business plan creation and execution
- Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development.
- Willingness and ability to undertake extensive travel.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent.
