Position Overview
The Director – Professional Services & Product Development is responsible for the planning, management, and operational activities for a significant portion of our healthcare business. This role oversees the coordination, implementation and delivery of our technology products and professional services to customers to meet customer success, revenue, utilization and quality goals. This individual will also be responsible for building strong ties with other departments within Kallo and with external partners to deliver services.

The Director will work closely with Product Management and Sales to successfully define and price solutions. This individual will be required to build functional knowledge of Kallo software and associated technologies and methodologies as well as the healthcare domain. This position manages a team of managers, project managers, services consultants responsible for the scoping, implementation and delivery of Kallo Software and Services.

Accountabilities

  • Manages the P/L for a PS department, insuring Quality Goals are met.
  • Provides managerial oversight for the project teams supporting the implementation lifecycle.
  • Establish clear, measureable strategic goals and mission objectives to drive team performance and execution.
  • Define and optimize internal processes, practices and quality standards.
  • Identify new trends and creating strategic action plans to lead the team and our customers forward in the healthcare industry.
  • Must be a strategic thinker, while maintaining data driven operational discipline and rigor
  • Provide closed loop input into the further development of Kallo’s product’s and solutions.
  • Increase customer retention and expand existing accounts.
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, training and developing top leadership and individual contributor talent.

Key Deliverables during First 12 to 24 Months

  • Resource Planning and Management – develop and maintain a dynamic resource capacity model to achieve required scale as we grow the business.
  • Distribute and monitor task assignments to the services teams to ensure successful and timely completion of all projects.
  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth understanding of the business processes, including new directions the company is taking.
  • Work with the professional services team to deliver high-quality, results based customer experience across all customer engagements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 15+ years of IT experience with increasing levels of responsibility that include managing P&L.
  • 10+ years of client service experience with a demonstrated record of success in leading enterprise-level implementations and professional services.
  • Accomplished at managing customer, internal cross-functional and vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate between the business and technical domains of a software implementation project, providing leadership in both.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in the healthcare domain.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to identify key processes that are repeatable and can be standardized.
  • Healthcare EMR experience preferred.
  • Healthcare Information Management experience preferred.
  • Strong execution ability, with an energetic ‘can-do’ team player attitude, and an ability to drive and manage change is important.
  • Ability to work with field offices considering cross-cultural sensitivities and respect at all times.
  • Travel will be required to customer sites and Kallo office locations.
